MISSION STATEMENT

     A Child’s Garden Preschool (ACG), a non-sectarian community outreach program of First Presbyterian Church, is committed to providing a developmentally appropriate learning environment for a diverse population of young children respectful of the individual needs, cultural heritage and identity of each child.

National Accreditation  ACG is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children which accredits high quality early childhood programs.  Maintaining the accreditation calls for a high level of program planning as well as family participation.  During the years that the accreditation self-assessment process is scheduled, family in-put is especially valuable.  As we proceed with a continuous self-evaluation, we appreciate and respect your objectivity. 

    A Child's Garden is located at 215 Locust Street NE, just south of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and west of I-25.

The program operates from 7:45 (early care before 9:00) through 5:15 (after care begins at 3:15).  The school calendar follows.

Summer schedule announced with registration in March.

SNOW DAYS:  When APS observes a snow closing, ACG is also closed.  When APS observes an “Abbreviated Day” ACG will open at 9:45 for early care and 10:30 for the regular school day.
