Registration Calendar 2010-2011

    

 

 

March 1                  Registration information available on-website. Scholarship application available upon request

 

March 12                DEADLINE FOR RETURN OF REGISTRATION FORMS FOR CURRENTLY ENROLLED FAMILIES AND POSTMARKED FOR FAMILIES ON THE WAITING LIST.  PRIORITY IS FORFEITED IF NOT RETURNED BY MARCH 12th  and/or REGISTRATION FORMS  ARE  INCOMPLETE.

 

March 15                 Summer Information available on-website

 

Week of April 5  Families will receive notification confirming enrollment for 2010-11. 

 

May 7                      Summer Tuition Due

 

June 15                   One-tenth of 2010-11 tuition due. It is applied to May 2011 and is non-refundable without a 30-day notice of withdrawal.

 

TBA                       New Parent Orientation. All new parents are required to attend an orientation.

 

 

 

REGISTRATION PROCESS

 

Print and Return the following no later than March 12

 

·         Completed Registration form (2 pages)

·         An official copy of immunizations (for newly enrolled or updated for currently enrolled)

·         Payment of $125 registration fee (non-refundable) made to A Child’s Garden.  If your child is placed on the waiting list, your check will be returned.

·         A completed Family  Agreement Form, Part 1.

·         Health Form A signed by parent

·         Health Form B signed by a physician

·         Tuition paid up-to-date for currently enrolled children

 

Priority for a space is generally determined as follows, although exceptions may be made consistent with A Child’s Garden’s goal of promoting socio-economic and cultural diversity. 

·         Children currently enrolled in the order of how long the family has had children enrolled at A Child’s Garden (each family has an assigned registration number)

·         Siblings of children currently enrolled or previously enrolled in order of family priority

·         Waiting list in order of length of time on the waiting list

·         EACH OF THE ABOVE APPLIES TO RECEIPT OF COMPLETE REGISTRATION PACKET

 

Placement Confirmation of placement will be mailed to new families during the week of April 5.

 

Waiting List  When the desired space is not available, the child is placed on a waiting list, and the family is informed.  It is the responsibility of each family still interested in a space for fall 2010 to participate in the March registration.  Otherwise, priority is forfeited.  Waiting lists are not automatically carried over from one year to the next.

 

Visitation  It is important to schedule a visit to the preschool when considering admission.  Tours are conducted on Wednesdays and Thurdays at 10a.m.  Please call 764-2920 to schedule a visit.  You may bring your child.

 

Withdrawal  The school office must be notified in writing 30 days prior to the beginning of the 2010-11 school year for refund of pre-paid tuition. Registration fees are non-refundable.
